Murphy’s films grossed $2.30 for every $1 he earned, and Heigl’s grossed $3.40 for every $1 she earned. Of course, money isn’t the true barometer of personal value. It’s also their terrible attitudes that help to determine. But it’s still good to have science backing this up.

What’s most annoying are the people here that haven’t seemed to do anything not only this year, but in the past decade. Like Dr. Dre. The last noteworthy thing he did was discover Eminem. Do Dr. Pepper and headphones really pay that well?

Tyler Perry? I’ve come to expect it. Donald Trump? Dr. Phil? Glenn Beck? Manny Pacquiao is an outspoken homophobe, but at least he accomplished something this year.

I wish Forbes would start hosting an event where all these people got together for dinner and mingling. I would love to be a fly on the wall for a conversation between Ryan Seacrest, Dr. Dre, and Rush Limbaugh.

Good Deeds

If you think that the title Good Deeds isn’t a delicious pun on the lead character’s name, Wesley Deeds, then you just don’t know how TP works. The film follows a successful businessman (Deeds, played by Tyler Perry) as he helps a down on her luck woman, hoping that good deed will spark a change in his life that will allow him become the man he’s always wanted to be.

It also stars, in decreasing order of talent: Thandie Newton, Gabrielle Union, Phylicia Rashad, Rebecca Romijn, and Jamie Kennedy. The film comes out on February 24th, which gives you just enough time to shop for and install a survival shelter.

House of Payne

Make way! Curtis Payne and company are coming back to make us laugh. And if we’re not careful, we just might learn something. The TBS sitcom has actually tackled a number of heavy issues such as religion and drug abuse. Granted it tackles those issues with a heavy hand in a fashion similar to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but it still tackles them.

The most recent season, season 7, contained a whopping 50 episodes. You might be asking yourself, “How does Tyler Perry produce one season of television packed with 50 high-quality episodes?”

The answer is, “He doesn’t.”

So let’s see, Leonardo DiCaprio is handsome, rich, dates models, dates Blake Livelys, and has worked with Kirk Cameron AND the critters from Critters. Charmed life.

Recently I reported that Forbes had crowned Simon Cowell the highest paid man on television. Now they’ve released a more pithy list and Will Ferrell sits at the top. Ferrell has been cited as the most overpaid actor in Hollywood based off the financial returns of his movies. This is of course due to flops like Land of the Lost and Semi Pro. An outraged Sean Penn commented, "Will Ferrell is one of our finest actors… who is willing to drop trow for laughs."

Second on the list is Ewan McGregor, which is really hard to believe. Think about all the money that the Star Wars movies raked in. Not to mention Angels and Demons, Robots, Black Hawk Down, and Big Fish. Did The Island really do THAT poorly? (Forbes)
