<description><![CDATA[They like to walk on the razor's edge.]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/whitney-houston/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Whitney Houston</a> was just <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/films/buried' target='_blank'>buried</a>, but <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/9-actresses-hotter-than-rihanna-esquires-sexiest-woman-alive/" target="_blank">Rihanna</a> is already making it known she&#8217;s ready to pick up her mantle of bad decision making. Just a few years after being beaten severely by then-boyfriend <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-lists/8-movie-characters-who-like-chris-brown-dont-deserve-a-second-chance/" target="_blank">Chris Brown</a>, the singer and <em>Battleship</em> actress is now publicly flirting and making music with her ex.</p>
<p>Many maintain that Brown has worked on his anger issues and is trying to turn over a new leaf. However, the fact that he&#8217;s had about 75 angry, public outbursts since he beat in a girl&#8217;s face paints a contradictory picture.</p>
<p>This is surely part of the publicity machine promoting both artists, and we&#8217;re not here to condemn or judge. But at the same time, gross you guys. Why would anyone want to return to a situation that has caused them so much pain? Sometimes temptation is just too strong. As the characters on this list can attest.</p>
<h4>Tommy Callahan &#8211; <em>Tommy Boy</em></h4>
<p><a href="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/tommy-boy.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-245911" title="tommy-boy" src="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/tommy-boy.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Tommy Callahan is a character who never learns. From cow-tipping to walking into windows, it takes a lot of effort to get him to open up and welcome some positive changes in his life. His lapsed intelligence is credited to his brain being clogged with malted hops and bong resin, but it goes further back than that, as he frequently ate paint chips and lived beneath power lines.</p>
<h4>Harry and Lloyd &#8211; <em>Dumb and Dumber</em></h4>
<p><a href="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/dumb-and-dumber-orange-and-blue-tuxedos1.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-245907" title="dumb-and-dumber-orange-and-blue-tuxedos1" src="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/dumb-and-dumber-orange-and-blue-tuxedos1.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="303" /></a></p>
<p>Harry and Lloyd just can&#8217;t say no to putting themselves in horrible situations. Throwing out all logic, they&#8217;re constantly stumbling through life falling victim to <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/hot-510/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>hot</a> peppers, cold poles, and frozen urine. If only they&#8217;d spent some time learning from their mistakes, they could avoid the multitude of perilous situations they put themselves in on the day-to-day.</p>

<description><![CDATA[If you find yourself about to quote one of these films, catch yourself and quote the works of Virgil instead. ]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/tv/tv-news/ring-in-the-new-year-with-the-walking-dead-marathon/" target="_blank">New Years</a> resolution time, kiddos. Let&#8217;s start off with something manageable and attainable. If you fancy yourself somewhat grown-up and witty, perhaps you would be interested in weaning yourself off of so many trite movie <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/quotes/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>quotes</a>. Now, I&#8217;m not saying you should go cold turkey, but perhaps you could just lessen your dependence, showcasing your rapier&#8217;s wit. If that&#8217;s too much, just try quoting other movies.</p>
<p>Because no one&#8217;s really impressed or amused by your heavy-handed <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/mike-myers-to-milk-austin-powers-for-sweet-sweet-broadway-money/" target="_blank">Austin Powers</a> impression anyway.</p>
<h4><em>The Big Lebowski</em></h4>
<p><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/r_GCRFRcWxA" frameborder="0" width="480" height="<a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/360-845/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>360</a>&#8220;></iframe></p>
<p>It’s a terrific film. Is it as transcendent as everyone makes it out to be? Probably not, but it’s damn funny and irreverent. However, you are not “The Jesus.” Those men are not cowards, and your filthy rug probably doesn’t tie the room together.</p>
<p>Most of the films on this list are very funny, but they don’t need to be a part of your day-to-day lexicon. If you spend much time quoting <em>Big Lebowski</em>, you probably don’t need to try to sound like any more of a stoner.</p>
<p>Acceptable holdouts: It’s hard to pick one, but I like, “I hate the fucking Eagles, man.” On account of The Eagles sucking so much.</p>
<h4><em>Happy Gilmore</em></h4>
<p><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/owNO5s3eln4" frameborder="0" width="480" height="360"></iframe></p>
<p>This film doesn’t hold up quite so well. It’s not that the years haven’t been that kind to it. It’s as relevant as it was when it was released. It’s just that we’re not 12 anymore, so jokes about an old man beating up a younger slob with anger issues isn’t that intriguing. Also, when you think about it, eating pieces of shit for breakfast is pretty foul.</p>
<p>Acceptable holdout: Anything Chubbs-related. “You’re acting like a damn fool,” especially.</p>
<h4><em>Dumb and Dumber</em></h4>
<p><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Rvsz4yXiBJY" frameborder="0" width="480" height="360"></iframe></p>
<p>You know what? I made a mistake. This one should stay. I was thinking about usable quotes, and there are just too many. This film offers wonderful lines about Aspen, John Denver being full of shit, being statistically more likely to die on the way to the airport, and dead pet parakeets.</p>
<p>Acceptable holdout: Eh, pretty much all of them, as long as that fella over there is Sea Bass.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/farrelly-brothers-cast-amanda-bynes-in-hall-pass/" target="_blank">Farrelly Brothers</a> announced their intention to wipe <em>Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd</em> from the public conscience (even more so) with a sequel to their 1994 original, <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/universe-conspiring-to-give-us-another-dumb-and-dumber/" target="_blank"><em>Dumb and Dumber</em></a>. Now that <em>The Three Stooges</em> is in the can, the Farrellys are free to reunite <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/jim-carrey-388/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Jim Carrey</a> and <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/jeff-daniels/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Jeff Daniels</a> in the roles of Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne.</p>
<p>Typically, Jim Carrey doesn&#8217;t do <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/sequels/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>sequels</a>, but he did hint at this project while promoting<em> Mr. Popper&#8217;s Penguins</em>. And Jeff Daniels will do anything. So, now it&#8217;s just a matter of schedules syncing up and the <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/guys/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>guys</a> who wrote <em>Sex Drive</em> being able to come up with some fresh fart <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/jokes/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>jokes</a>. Developing. (<a href="http://www.deadline.com/2011/10/peter-and-bobby-farrelly-plan-more-dumb-and-dumber-for-jim-carrey-and-jeff-daniels/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Deadline</a>)</p>

<description><![CDATA[To help get you through the rest of the week, here's a list (with video) of people killing animals. ]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As a reader of this site, you probably know as well as we do that there’s nothing better than the sadistic killing of <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-lists/9-greatest-movie-animal-escapes/" target="_blank">animals</a> for pleasure and/or as an outlet for anger. Well, since those liberals in Washington (state) frown on us <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/genres-movies/horror-films/the-walking-dead-how-to-kill-a-zombie/" target="_blank">killing</a> <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/animals-685/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>animals</a> for no good reason, the next best thing is watching it happen in TV or film. Sure, it’s a distant second, but it’s more fulfilling than tearing apart a stuffed animal or beating a veal shank with a billy club.</p>
<p>So if you’re having a bad day, the neighbor’s dog won’t stop barking, or if you just realized your childhood ended wayyyyy too soon during that 4th of July <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/party/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>party</a> some years back, enjoy this list of people killing animals, but not out of necessity.</p>
<h4>Lenny and the Rabbit – <em>Of Mice and Men</em></h4>
<p><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/3_8pU7mGd9g" frameborder="0" width="480" height="<a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/360-845/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>360</a>&#8220;></iframe></p>
<p>Lenny is a gentle giant. Wait. No he’s not. He is a rather <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/violent/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>violent</a> giant that manages to crush most everything he puts his hands on, like rabbits and road mice. Eventually, after Lenny’s behavior takes the life of another person, his friend George feels the need to act. It’s at this point that George tells Lenny about the rabbits.</p>
<p>The rabbits <em>in hell</em>.</p>
<h4>Maurice Miller Crushes The Gold Fish – <em>Out of Sight</em></h4>
<p><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/65eo8UXW9HE" frameborder="0" width="480" height="360"></iframe></p>
<p>After thug inmate Maurice Miller promises to get a pet goldfish to a rich inmate whom he is protecting, Mr. Miller enjoys a change of heart (as is his right) and crushes the bagged goldfish with his bare hands, which isn’t all that much of a feat. There&#8217;s no real glory in crushing a fish. Maybe a tuna or a halibut, but a goldfish? No way. That’s cowardly.</p>
<p><em>I&#8217;m aware this is in <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/german/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>German</a>, but feel it works better that way. </em></p>
<h4>The Cow – <em>Me, Myself, and Irene</em></h4>
<p><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BfeZXWXmI_0" frameborder="0" width="480" height="360"></iframe></p>
<p>Of course, the cow in this film doesn’t die, but it really should have. Jim Carrey’s Charlie comes across an ailing cow, then, to put it out of its misery, ends up shooting, bludgeoning, and attempting to suffocate the cow to end its suffering. After shooting the cow nine times, we assume that the cow has finally shuffled the mortal coil, only to learn later in the film that the damn thing’s “lucky to be alive.”</p>

<description><![CDATA[These bowl cuts are the best bowl cuts.]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The upcoming comedy starring <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/nick-swardson-139/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Nick Swardson</a>, <em><a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/video/nick-swardson-does-porn-in-bucky-larson-born-to-be-a-star-trailer/" target="_blank">Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star</a></em>, features a titular character with an unusual hair style: the perennially infamous <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-lists/who-will-play-moe-howard-in-the-three-stooges-movie/" target="_blank">bowl cut</a>. But while Bucky Larson is the latest movie character to feature The Cut, he&#8217;s far from the first. In case you&#8217;re interested in brushing up on your bowl cut movie history, here are a few of the best bowl cuts in movies.</p>
<h4>Moe Howard, <em>The Three Stooges</em></h4>
<p><a href="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/261585-moe_howard_7_large.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-226747" title="261585-moe_howard_7_large" src="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/261585-moe_howard_7_large.jpg" alt='' width="450" height="566" /></a></p>
<p>Long considered the immortal King of the Bowl Cut, Moe of the comedy troupe The <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/three-stooges-89/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Three Stooges</a> remains the bowl cut by which all other bowl cuts are judged. And unlike many of the cinematic bowl cut wearers to follow, Moe isn&#8217;t some milquetoast dork &#8211; he&#8217;s a badass who makes his points through violent eyejabs if necessary.</p>
<h4>Jim Carrey, <em>Dumb and Dumber</em></h4>
<p><a href="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/dumb-and-dumber-jim-carrey.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-226748" title="dumb-and-dumber-jim-carrey" src="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/dumb-and-dumber-jim-carrey.jpg" alt='' width="450" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>In order to embody the character of Lloyd Christmas in the Farrell <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/films/brothers' target='_blank'>brothers</a>&#8216; breakthrough <em>Dumb and Dumber</em>, star <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/jim-carrey-388/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Jim Carrey</a> chose to enter the ranks of cinematic bowl cuts. So legendary was Jim Carrey&#8217;s bowl cut in this movie that he has completely divorced himself from the bowl cut for the rest of his career. Might <em>The Number 23</em> have been a box office success if he&#8217;d worn a bowl cut in it? The world &#8230; may never know.</p>
<h4>John <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/films/paul' target='_blank'>Paul</a>, George, and Ringo, <em>A Hard Day&#8217;s Night</em></h4>
<p><a href="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/hard-days-night.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-226749" title="hard day's night" src="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/hard-days-night.jpg" alt='' width="450" height="443" /></a></p>
<p>The four clean lads otherwise known as <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/the-beatles-710/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>The Beatles</a> might be more famous for the shaggy mop-style hair they wore later in their careers, but photographic evidence shows that they were definitely rocking bowl cuts in this, their first movie.  It&#8217;s not known whether they were going for comedic effect, or if they just thought bowl cuts looked cool. Either way, it&#8217;s The Beatles, man.</p>
<h4>Anton Chigurh, <em>No Country for Old Men</em></h4>
<p><a href="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/anton-chigurh-00-630-75.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-226750" title="anton-chigurh-00-630-75" src="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/anton-chigurh-00-630-75.jpg" alt='' width="450" height="258" /></a></p>
<p>Anton Chigurh, much like the bowl cut itself, has often been referred to as the embodiment of <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/evil/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>evil</a> itself. So it only makes sense that <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/javier-bardem-652/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Javier Bardem</a> would stretch his head to fit the bowl when he signed on to play Mr. Chigurh. According to Hollywood lore, when Bardem saw his bowl cut for this first time, he was heard to say &#8220;I&#8217;m not going to be laid for three months.&#8221; A small price to pay for <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/fashion/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>fashion</a>!</p>
<h4>Damien, <em>The Omen</em> (2006)</h4>
<p><a href="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/damien1.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-226815" title="damien" src="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/damien1.jpg" alt='' width="450" height="301" /></a></p>
<p>While the 70s and 80s were considered the heyday of the bowl cut, here&#8217;s an example of what some may call bowl cut irony: The original <em>The Omen</em>, from 1976, featured a Damien without a bowl cut, while the 2006 remake, well after the era of the bowl cut, had a bowl cut Damien for its tiny antichrist/son of Satan/whatever Damien is. And why not? Can you think of a more demonic hairstyle than the bowl cut? It makes a spiky mohawk look like a <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/stephen-colbert/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Stephen Colbert</a> professional newsman &#8216;do.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/tv/tv-news/subtle-humorist-jim-carrey-guest-stars-on-the-office/" target="_blank">Jim Carrey</a> is talking about falling off the jetway again. Maybe that&#8217;d be more pleasant than <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/Video/new-mr-poppers-penguins-trailer-is-penguin-filled-to-the-max/" target="_blank">penguin wrangling</a>?</p>
<p><div id='post_in_album' class='post_in_album'><a class='img' href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/gallery/peep-out-mr-poppers-penguins-pics/' title='Peep Out ‘Mr. Popper’s Penguins’ Pics'><img src='http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/gallery/mr-poppers-penguins/popper-penguins01.jpg'/></a><h3><span class='num'>5 photos</span><a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/gallery/peep-out-mr-poppers-penguins-pics/'>Peep Out ‘Mr. Popper’s Penguins’ Pics</a></h3></div>In a recent interview, Carrey let slip that he was considering two sequels to past films that they already made spin-off movies out of, but neither one involved Carrey. I guess he wants to go back and rewrite those great wrongs in cinema history.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;We&#8217;re talking about maybe returning to some old characters that everyone has been asking about,&#8221; on which Carrey elaborated, &#8221;&#8230;There&#8217;s <em><a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/genres-movies/comedies/funny-comedy-movies-of-the-2000s/" target="_blank">Bruce Almighty</a></em> and we&#8217;re talking about maybe another <em><a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/genres-movies/comedies/stupid-funny-movies-for-guys/" target="_blank">Dumb and Dumber</a></em>.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>What? He&#8217;s not doing another <em>Majestic</em>? Aw, man. Well, it&#8217;d be fun to catch up with Harold and Lloyd, and I&#8217;m guessing <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/jennifer-hudson-joins-the-three-stooges-because-whats-the-point-any-more/" target="_blank">The Farrelly Brothers</a> have been praying night and day for the dumberer stars of that potential hit to align. As for <em>Bruce Almighty</em>, the <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/steve-carell-593/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Steve Carell</a> sequel <em>Evan Almighty</em> was a big budget disappointment. Are people really excited to return to the franchise? I&#8217;d just assume pack my memories of those movies on an arc and let them <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/drift/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>drift</a> peacefully off into the ocean. (<a href="http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=78391" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">ComingSoon.net</a>)</p>

		<description><![CDATA['Dumb and Dumbererer'?]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-30633" href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/universe-conspiring-to-give-us-another-dumb-and-dumber/attachment/dumb-and-dumber/"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-30633" style="margin-left: 7px; margin-right: 7px;" title="Dumb and Dumber" src="http://cdn2.screenjunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Dumb-and-Dumber.jpg" alt='' width="288" height="190" /></a>You&#8217;ve probably been clamoring for a sequel to <em>Dumb and Dumber </em>ever since you laughed uproariously at Bob Saget&#8217;s antics in the prequel, <em>Dumb and Dumberer</em>. Well now, presumably thanks to the <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/weekend-box-office-report-oscar-weekend-blues/">disappointing performance of </a><em><a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/weekend-box-office-report-oscar-weekend-blues/">Hall Pass</a>,</em> the Farrell <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/films/brothers' target='_blank'>brothers</a> are apparently working on a sequel. One of the brothers Farrelly, Bobby, recently had this to say about a possible sequel:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;[Dumb and Dumber] has run a bunch of times on TV in the states, and kids will come up and they’ll be able to quote lines from that – lines that I’ve long forgotten. If we could get those two guys back together, <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/jim-carrey-388/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Jim Carrey</a> and <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/jeff-daniels/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Jeff Daniels</a> that might be a worthwhile sequel – and that ball is in motion. We’re starting to think about what those two dimwits would be doing twenty-years later in life, and hopefully we’ll be able to come up with something worthy of a sequel.”</p></blockquote>
<p>So a <em>Dumb and Dumber </em>sequel is contingent upon the original stars agreeing to do it. That already puts it ahead of the prequel, which not only didn&#8217;t have <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/jim-carrey-to-star-in-ripleys-movie-believe-it-or-not/">Carrey </a>or Daniels, but also didn&#8217;t involve <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/the-farrelly-brothers-98/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>the Farrelly brothers</a> at all. Let&#8217;s go ahead and put this in the &#8220;might not be awful if it actually happens&#8221; file for now. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/tv/tv-news/cnn-takes-reporting-to-new-level/" target="_blank">CNN</a> has suddenly become awesome. Due to all the controversy and criticism they draw because of their lazy hiring practices, they knew they needed to switch things up fast. I don&#8217;t know if they&#8217;ve hired a new programming director or an outside consultant or what, but whoever they&#8217;ve brought in has made the channel much more watchable.</p>
<p>During a segment about British people or something, they inexplicably cut to the scene from <em>Dumb And Dumber</em> where <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/jeff-daniels/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Jeff Daniels</a> evacuates his bowels. I mean, they can&#8217;t even show that entire scene on FX, and those guys play <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/shield-creator-shawn-ryan-to-take-on-tom-clancys-without-remorse/" target="_blank">&#8220;The Shield.&#8221;</a> Watch out, <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/tv/tv-news/comedy-central-giving-us-more-waiting/" target="_blank">Comedy Central</a>. If <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/cnn/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>CNN</a> gets hold of an unedited copy of <em>Just One Of The Guys</em>, you&#8217;ll be out of business.</p>
