Don’t Panic: Everyone’s Back For ‘Ice Age 4′

I know you’ve been worried about whether Ray Romano and Queen Latifah will return for the next Ice Age movie. You can stop refreshing the Screen Junkies home page because… *drum roll*… yes, they will be. Time to take a deep breathe, I have to keep reminding myself.

Fox’s $2 billion dollar grossing Ice Age series is coming out with a fourth installment, Continental Drift, a “high seas” adventure. More returning cast members that have been thawed out include Denis Leary, Josh Peck, Seann William Scott and John Leguizamo.

New warm-blooded additions to the cast include Jeremy Renner, Jennifer Lopez, Wanda Sykes, Keke Palmer, Drake and Aziz Ansari. Though I admit Ansari will probably be a great voice actor, I will not pay $38 to see another Ice Age movie in 3D. I’d rather just watch”Parks and Recreation” with my eyes closed and pretend his character’s a squirrel or something.

Decent Actor Richard Gere Close To Joining ‘Arbitrage’

Richard Gere is close to signing on to the Nicholas Jarecki-directed drama Arbitrage. An earlier press release reported that Al Pacino had signed on to the lead as a shady hedge fund manager trying to sell off his empire before its collapse. Whether Gere is taking over that role or appearing in a supporting capacity isn’t known at this time. But if Nicholas Jarecki saw Son Of No One, that would explain Pacino’s dismissal.

Either way, this could prove to be Gere’s toughest role to date as he might have to share the screen with Drake. It takes a fine actor to counteract Drake‘s bland appeal. And as the pink dog sporting sunglasses in the inset photo has illustrated, Gere is merely a decent actor. (Deadline)

Rapper Drake Plans To Blandly Star In ‘Arbitrage’

Drake may not have a lot of different facial expressions, but he does get a lot of work done. From Degrassi: The Next Generation to #1 hit singles, it seems like there’s nothing the milquetoast toast of the music world hasn’t done. Now The Fresh Prince of Bel-Lazy Eyes is looking to add a second movie role to his filmography.

Arbitrage is an indie film written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki (“The Outsider”), and Drake may co-star with Eva Green and Susan Sarandon. The film is about a shifty hedge fund manager trying to pawn off his about-to-collapse empire to an unsuspecting bank before it’s too late, and a lot of bad shit happens to him.

No word yet on what character Drake plays, but we bet he’s described in the script as “smooth.” When you want so smooth, you kinda get drowsy looking at him, you go to Drake. If he got Bill Murray to mentor him though, that might be a game changer. (TheWrap)

Twitter has changed the rap game fo-ev-a, yo. In this music video, Jimmy Kimmel shows Drake he shouldn’t waste anymore of his time writing original, intelligent, rhyming lyrics. Why try to say it better when Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher have already said it best? I can’t wait until Ashton’s Twitter-based album "Did You Know Fish Don’t Have Eyelids?" goes platinum.
