M. Night Shyamalan wrote a series of new stories, then realized one of them was a sequel to Unbreakable. Or perhaps the other way around.

Review: ‘Devil’

I just went to the midnight show of Devil for fun with a friend, but it turned out to be so entertaining I just couldn’t stop thinking of things to…

10 Most Bad-Ass Devils in Film
Monday, September 13 by

Devils and demons have possessed the silver screen in many formats, from comedies to cartoons, CGI depictions, psychological thrillers, and fantasy worlds. Yet the most bad-ass, ripsnorting, fire breathing incarnations that we remember are the ones that send chills down our spines. With Devil taking over theaters Friday, I thought I'd compile a list of the 10 most bad-ass Devils in movies. Nothing is better than witnessing your favorite actor playing the ultimate screen villain of old Beelzebub himself. Hail Satan!

Al Pacino as John Milton – The Devil's Advocate

While the movie is just a silly combination of John Grisham novels meets the production designer of Rosemary’s Baby, there's plenty of hot and steamy sex with Connie Nelson and Charlize Theron. Plus Al Pacino plays the devil, so do I really need to say anything more?

What a Twist! Reporter Calls Out M. Night Shyamalan for Crappy Movies (Video)
Tuesday, July 20 by

M. Night Shyamalan received a less than cordial question from a foreign reporter while promoting his latest film, The Last Airbender, and the director did not mince words in his reply. “I think if I thought like you, I’d kill myself” Shyamalan told the reporter who basically accused the director of selling out in a bid to revive his floundering career. While any director would have bristled at such a rude question, Shyamalan's response would seem to indicate that the reporter hit close to home. And the fact that M. Night felt the need to describe how popular his movies are in France really didn't help his case. Here's hoping Shyamalan's next project, Devil, doesn't suck, so we can all look back on this and laugh nervously, and then maybe hump on each other like monkeys do when they get nervous. What? I saw it on Animal Planet. See sh*t get real for M. Night after the jump.

M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Devil’ Trailer Doesn’t Look Half Bad
Wednesday, July 14 by

Eat your heart out, Inception! Devil, a new film written by M. Night Shyamalan, doesn't look half bad. In fact, after viewing the trailer below, I think I actually want to see it. But then again, that's why Shyamalan is considered a master. He has the uncanny ability to take a film with an interesting premise and bankable stars and turn it into a steaming pile of dog poo. "The first released under “The Night Chronicles” banner, Devil is directed by Quarantine helmers the Dowdle Bros from a story by M. Night Shyamalan and script by Brian Nelson. The story reported involves a group of people who are trapped in an elevator, and one of them is the devil." That reminds me of the time I left my brother tied up in the desert all alone because he was possessed by the devil. He kept insisting that he was fine and that I was being paranoid. But that's what the devil does! He makes you doubt yourself. At any rate, a memorial service for my brother will be held this Friday at 1 p.m. Email me for more details.
