Wow. When Fred caught Fantastic Fest screening of Yuen Woo-Ping’s True Legend and described it as awesome, I didn’t know it would be THIS awesome. How awesome, you ask? Well, it features a guys with crazy eyebrows, a guy running with an old man standing on his head, drunkenness, David Carradine in his final role, and swords flying at the camera before landing in various solar plexuses. Or solar plexi. Or solar plexus.

Fuck it, I’ma chill.

CARRADINE MAY HAVE DIED AT THE HANDS OF NINJAS

The death of David Carradine grows more and more bizarre by the day. At first it was believed that the actor had committed suicide. Later it was ruled as an accidental death due to a session of auto-erotic asphyxiation gone awry. Now, the family’s lawyer is claiming that Carradine was killed by ninjas because the Kung Fu star was trying to uncover the shadowy doings of the secret society.

DAVID CARRADINE FOUND DEAD IN BANGKOK

The U.S. Embassy has confirmed the death of Kung Fu and Kill Bill star David Carradine. The 72 year old actor was discovered early Thursday morning in his Bangkok hotel room. Currently there are conflicting reports concerning the cause of death. Screen Junkies would like to offer our sincere condolences to all of David’s loved ones.
