Today, we get news of another recognizable face going underground. This time, for work reasons.

The Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reimagining just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Danny Woodburn, best known for playing Mickey on Seinfeld and as the gangster murdered with a toilet in Watchmen, has been cast to play the turtles’ rodent mentor in the bizarrely cast film. Megan Fox and Will Arnett have recently joined as well, with unknowns Ian Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, and Noel Fisher playing the turtles.

What remains unknown is whether Splinter will be brought to life via motion capture or prosthetic makeup but seeing as Woodburn is neither known for martial arts or being Asian, it’s an inspired and interesting choice. Plus we can all be happy that Bay showed restraint and didn’t cast Ken Jeong. (Deadline)

Relativity recently bumped their untitled Snow White project’s release date to March 16, 2012, months ahead of Universal’s Snow White and The Huntsman bow on June 1, 2012. Now Relativity is pulling ahead by doing a major casting blitz, hiring 7 bros to play 7 dwarves. Where are your dwarves, Kristen Stewart? Yeah, that’s what I thought.

Armie Hammer, Julia Roberts and Lily Collins will be joined in the cast by Jordan Prentice (Harold & Kumar), Joey Gnoffo (Pirates of the Caribbean), Danny Woodburn (Watchmen), Ronald Lee Clark (Epic Movie), Sebastian Saraceno (Bedtime Stories) and Mark Povinelli (Water for Elephants). I like that they’re using actual little people, as opposed to camera tricks, wardrobe tricks or f*cking CGI. However, was Peter Dinklage at least called?
