My only friend, the end.
Back for extra innings.
An all-too-brief glimpse into Phase 3 of Kenny Powers
Watch ‘Eastbound & Down’s’ greatest moments. Over and over again.
Kenny Powers back on top-ish.
Dr. Cock N Balls is back in the game.
Given the willingness of so many media figures to blame Hollywood, it’s probably only a matter of time.
He’ll play Kenny’s new friend. Is Stevie Janowski f***in’ out??
Monkey masks, flamethrowers, and rape kits. Need I say more?
The posters feature a scared as hell Jesse Eisenberg and Aziz Ansari, as well as the very first intelligent apes from ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’.
Damned stoner apes!!
He’ll have to believe in “Miracles” to get out of this one.
It could be funnier but it’s consistently pleasant.
‘Your Highness’ star Danny McBride visited students at North Carolina State University with the director, David Gordon Green, and offered sage advice on horse riding and jousting.
Director: David Gordon Green Cast: Natalie Portman, Zooey Deschanel, James Franco, Danny McBride Synopsis: A fantasy movie about an arrogant, lazy prince and his more heroic brother who must complete…
As writer and star of “Eastbound and Down,” Danny McBride already has the coolest job. Now he’s looking for another.
Hide the children!
Pass these posters around the room.
Maybe this means they’ll release Kenny Powers’ audiobook.
It sounds like the unholy child of ‘Step By Step’ and ‘Fight Club.’
We’ve reported on Bad Teacher, 30 Minutes Or Less, and Anonymous before. But now we have first looks and better descriptions of the doings that transpire on-screen.
We’ve seen the red band trailer for David Gordon Green’s Your Highness and we all laughed and looked at Natalie Portman in a thong and it was a really good time. Today, we have the green band version.
What’cha, what’cha, what’cha want, Elijah Wood, Danny McBride, Will Ferrell, and Jack Black? Oh, to star in a short film based on the Beastie Boys’ 1987 music video (You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party).
Franco and McBride play brothers, one of them brave, the other an idiot. When Franco’s fair maiden is kidnapped by an evil witch-man, the two go on a quest to rescue her. In the process, they find Natalie Portman, who is sporting some kind of amazing Middle Ages thong.
You pretty much have the whole entire force of God coming at you via Kenny Powers in this new trailer for "Eastbound & Down's" second season. You also have cornrows, a dwarf, hot Mexican women, an army of jet skis, mopeds, and drunken firing squads. This is the closest we will ever come to a Kevin Federline biopic.
Check out the new trailer after the jump…
The veil has been lifted on Aziz Ansari and Danny McBride's super-secret comedy project. Not 30 Minutes Or Less. We already know about that one. I'm talking about their other comedy project. The comedians are teaming up again for Olympic-Size A**hole. Written by Ansari and Harris Wittels, it's a revenge flick that follows McBride and Ansari as they set out to destroy an Olympic athlete that banged their girlfriends.
The title, Olympic-Size A**hole, may change as it could easily be mistaken for a Lindsay Lohan biopic. (MTV)
HBO, "Eastbound & Down," Kenny Powers, and Danny McBride would like you to know that Twitter's KFUCKINGP has nothing to do with them. For more than a year, a comedy writer from NYC has been posing as fictional washed-up baseball star Kenny Powers and delighting followers with his clever, very McBride-like tweets. He isn't McBride though, as the actor himself told Vulture:
"Kenny Powers is a full-grown man, so he would never Twitter. But Kenny is also a man of the people. He doesn't care if the public feels the need to impersonate him. That just puts him up there with the big dogs like Santa and Elvis. Knowing that it's a very funny committed fan makes us proud."
That's a burn for all you bloggers out there. You grown-ass men shouldn't share your thoughts, grievances, and lazy Sunday night plans with the world. Sure, Anonymous NYC Aspiring Comedy Writer found some success with it, but he sacrificed his masculinity in the process. Fortunately Screen Junkies has raw male power to spare, so we're always tweeting the sh*t out of sh*t on our account HERE!!!!
"Eastbound & Down" returns to HBO September 26th, and it's Kenny Powers approved.
Everyone's curious what will become of "The Office" after this season, once Steve Carell packs his assorted chochkies and potted plant into a banker's box and is forcefully removed from the Scranton Sabre branch. A replacement has yet to be named but sources say that both of the slobs pictured above have been contacted about joining the cast.
Showrunner Paul Lieberstein confirms that Rhys Darby ("Flight of the Conchords") and Danny McBride (every comedy) are having conversations about coming aboard in the role of a new salesman. It's not a done deal that the actor who takes this role will take over as boss. That job could easily go to a current castmember. Sound off in the 'comments' section to let us know who you think would make the best dipsh*t boss. (EW)
Danny McBride is back as Kenny Powers in September on HBO, but this teaser for the second season of "Eastbound & Down" isn't going to give you one lick of a look at him. Today we have further assurance that every comedy will eventually look and sound the same as Deadline reports that funnymen of note, Aziz Ansari and Danny McBride, are teaming up for another "laffer." Mandate Pictures bought the rights, based on a pitch by Ansari and "30 Rock" writer Matt Hubbard. McBride's Rough House will produce, with "Parks and Recreation" writer Harris Wittels handling the script. No details are known about the rib-tickler as of yet but with both Ansari and McBride on board, you can bet it will be a yuckfest. A real orgy of giggles. The knee-slapper isn't expected to go before cameras until the duo wrap their upcoming guffawcalypse, 30 Minutes Or Less. If my gut ain't lying, (and she never does) this is gonna be one uproarious talkie.
