We also hear the smart money is on Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones signing on to play Tulip, Willis’s wife.” This could be more fun in Vegas than the cast of Ocean’s 12 had filming Ocean’s 12.

In Bruce Willis, Stephen Frears has found his Dink Heimowitz. Willis is in negotiations to join Lay The Favorite, Take The Dog. Based on Beth Raymer’s best-seller, Lay The Favorite: A Memoir Of Gambling, the film is about a cocktail waitress who becomes one of Vegas’s top bookies.

Willis’ Heimowitz character is a former New York bookmaker who coaches Rebecca Hall‘s Raymer. It’s unlikely he will use a car to kill a helicopter in this film. However, he may have that opportunity soon enough…

While 20th Century Fox continues to look for a Die Hard 5 script that doesn’t suck, Willis has been interviewing directors to helm the project. At the top of his list is Daniel Espinosa of Snabba Cash and the upcoming Safe House. At this rate, we may see John McClane take on terrorists before his 60th birthday. (Vulture)

Fares Fares Will Have His Name In Lights

Man, do all the bad guys know about this Safe House? Just the other day, the T-1000 and some other movie bad guy types signed on to threaten Denzel Washington‘s personal safety. Today, Snabba Cash actor and hilarious name-haver Fares Fares is re-teaming with director Daniel Espinosa for his English-language debut.

Fares will play an assassin hired to take out Washington and any Ryan Reynoldses that try to get in his way. Fares had better hope he has the cunning required to pull off the mission. The ragtag team of Reynolds and Washington may not look like much, but when they can put their differences aside, that young agent and that experienced old timer might just have what it takes to see the end credits. T-1000 And Friends Invade Denzel Washington’s ‘Safe House’

There ain’t no party like a Safe House party, and when you throw a Safe House party, you need a whole bunch of somewhat well-known actors. That’s why Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), Brendan Gleeson (the Harry Potter movies), Liam Cunningham (Clash of the Titans) and Sam Shepard (Black Hawk Down) are joining the cast of the new Denzel Washington thriller Safe House. The film is directed by Daniel Espinosa, who directed The Fighter, but not that The Fighter – a different The Fighter.

In the movie, Ryan Reynolds plays a CIA agent who needs to protect criminal Denzel Washington from assassins, after Reynold’s safe house is compromised. Will Ryan Reynolds‘ character secretly turn out to be a superhero, like all the other roles he’s been playing lately? We can only hope the Green Lantern shows up, so Hal Jordan and Alastor Moody can team up to fight T-1000. If that’s what’s gonna happen, I’ll be there opening night. (TheWrap)
