We’re not sure if Hoodwinked‘s Cory Edwards is still on board to write and direct but there is news that the film will help you to trip your balls off. Jake Shears and Babydaddy of the psychodelic/disco group Scissor Sisters will write musical numbers for the film. Though this is in no way a confirmation that the film has a new script, it may be a case of a script being based around the songs. The band was “spawned by the scuzzy, gay nightlife scene of New York.” I’m not sure that’s the edge for which the Weinsteins were hoping, but I can imagine a sweaty club full of shirtless doozers squeezing balloons between their chests until they pop.
