Over 40 million people have turned in to watch the reality/ shock/ documentary series with the characteristically Chinese title Interviews Before Execution. Guess what it‘s about? GUESS!

The show follows and interviews both death row inmates and their families as the “dead men walking” live out their final minutes. I’m all for bloodlust and getting nauseated, but this sounds seriously troubling.

The producer of the channel, Lu Peijin, says that the purpose of the show is to act as a deterrent, claiming, “We want the audience to be warned. If they are warned, tragedies might be averted. That is good for society.”

Those Chinese! They love that whole “good for society” argument!

In case the rationale isn’t cold enough for you, the host, Ding Yu (a female) will often berate the subjects in their final minutes, cause, ya know, China. To one inmate she sat down with, she stated bluntly, “ “Fortunately, you’re in jail. You’re dangerous to society. You’re shit.’’

If this sounds like your idea of good television, you can’t catch the program itself, but there are documentaries on BBC2 and PBS International that I’m not going to link to because I don’t think anyone should watch this. (IHT)

Finally, someone has the balls to nail those Muppet bastards right to the wall and expose them for the filthy leftists they are. In a recent segment, Fox News decried the latest Muppet movie for depicting a wealthy oilman as a villain, thereby indoctrinating a generation of children into the Marxist movement. First they take Manhattan, then they take Berlin.

Here’s a few of my favorite quotes from this hard-hitting news segment:

“The only thing green that should be up on that screen should be Kermit the Frog.”

No argument here. I’ve been sucking dick ever since I heard The Rainbow Connection at age 6.

In all fairness, the OWS people (if you consider them “people”) were doing a lot more sitting in one place than they were walking. And now that I think about it, have you ever seen Oscar the Grouch walk? Coincidence?

“I just wish liberals could leave little kids alone.”

God damn liberals like Jerry Sandusky need to stay away from my kids!

“They should have…the evil person be the Obama administration?”

Good idea, but I’m not very comfortable with my child being exposed to a black Muppet.

Have you ever seen a picture of Jim Henson? He’s a god damn pinko if I’ve ever seen one.

Of course, to keep things fair and balanced, Fox’s token leftist straw man (who in this case, was a woman named Caroline Heldman) came in to confirm the grand Muppet conspiracy.

“You call it brainwashing, I call this education. It’s a shame they couldn’t have put up a financial services tycoon.”

Smooth move, Caroline. You blew the whole thing. Here’s a tip for anyone being asked to come on Fox News to stick up for a Democratic cause: If they’re asking you, it’s because you’re stupid. Don’t go (or do, I don’t care).

But perhaps the most insulting part of the whole segment is the fact that host Eric Bolling lifted a quote from Adam Carolla’s recent (and kind of awesome) anti-Occupy Wall Street rant.

Carolla’s rant:

It used to be, back in the day, father’d be walking his son down the sidewalk and you’d see a guy go by in a Rolls Royce and the father would say, “There goes Mr. Jenkins. Look up to him. That guy works hard. That guy built a company. That guy built an empire. Now look at him. He’s got his Rolls Royce.” Now it’s like, “Oh! Look at him. Does he need that car? Why does he need that car?”

Eric Bolling’s quote:

I remember when I was a little kid, we were poor, we were dead broke, in fact, and my parents would see someone wealthy driving by and be like, “See that guy, he started a business, he worked hard, you can be like that.” Not pointing the finger at Tex Richamn and saying “he’s a bad guy.”

If you want to bitch about Occupy Wall Street, more power to you. But at least be original (says the guy who just stole an article idea from Vulture).

It’s been said that only Nixon could go to China. Well tell that to Big Bird, bitch.

The “Sesame Street” gang (not to be confused with the Gang of Four) has cut a deal that will eventually see a Chinese version of the show broadcast across the country, targeting the nation’s estimated 87 million children. Let a hundred flowers bloom.

Now, my first instinct was to make a joke about Big Bird hanging in a Chinese butcher shop window, or maybe something about Oscar the Grouch being sent to a reeducation camp for subversive thought. But instead, I’ll take the high road by avoiding stereotypes.

In the new show, set to air each day at 5:30 pm, a new, Chinese Sesame Street character—a martial arts expert Muppet called Tiger Lily–will join Big Bird and Elmo.

For years, I’ve been saying that Brett Ratner is a damn communist, and for years my allegations have fallen on deaf ears. But now, I finally have the proof I need to bring down this pinko once and for all.

Ratner is set to direct The Reluctant Communist, the story about Charles Robert Jenkins, a U.S. Army soldier who ended up spending 40-years as a "prisoner" in North Korea after "drunkenly" deserting during the Korean War. While "imprisoned," Jenkins was "forced" to act in North Korean propaganda films and became a national celebrity, usually playing the evil American. There are worse ways to spend a 40-year prison term. Why do I keep thinking of the scene where they first thaw out Austin Powers?
