So as long as they’re roasting anyone, friend or foe, here are nine celebrities that deserve to be roasted.
Paul F. Tompkins as a wisecracking villain? This stuff writes itself.
Norm MacDonald is going back behind the desk for a comedic half hour take on the world of sports in Comedy Central’s “The Sports Show With Norm MacDonald.”
National productivity: your days are numbered.
According to Katie Segal (Leela), Comedy Central is funding the continued adventures of Fry, Leela, Bender and Earth’s most unqualified crab-man doctor for another season.
Who are the 5 best black comedians on Comedy Central? Avid stand-up comedian fans can name the all-time black comedians off the top of their heads. Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby,…
When Suzanne Sena appears on the first episode of “Onion News Network” tomorrow evening, she’ll be playing a delicately-crafted caricature of herself.
It’s an age old question: What makes the better pet? Comedian Nick Kroll answers this and many other questions in his upcoming hour long Comedy Central special, airing January 29th.
It’s The Onion, so you know it’ll be funny. Also funny: ESPN’s 24-hour broadcast of Chris Berman’s jiggling neck fat.
If there are two things you can count on “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” for, it’s laughs and date rape defense tactics. This quick promo delivers both.
You see, the olives are meant to represent her boobs.
Good news everybody. Comedy Central may have found something to replace "Chappelle's Show" in its line-up. Or at least something to bookend their constant screenings of Waiting and Still Waiting.
That's right. Waiting, the film about Ryan Reynolds's flirty waiter, is becoming a half-hour long series. It's okay to groan "Party Down" fans. Your pain is felt. (Deadline)

Preview – Steve Carell and Chris Rock's Special Auction Items Pt. 2
Ugly Americans New Episodes
Nick Swardson's Pretend Time
Night of Too Many Stars
Who better to tell off your ex than the foul-mouthed master himself, Chris Rock? On tonight's "Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert for Autism Education," Chris Rock puts up for auction a moment of closure that's worth top dollar. Watch as Rock calls the highest bidder's ex-boyfriend and makes him wish he'd never cheated via Facebook. Or maybe be glad that he cheated considering he got cussed out by Chris Rock for it.
"Night of Too Many Stars airs tonight at 9PM/8c on Comedy Central.
A few months back I had the opportunity to visit the set of Nick Swardson's new Comedy Central show "Pretend Time." When I arrived, the comedian was a wearing a crimson red hat and veil, not unlike Lady Gaga. He also donned a police uniform, badge, and department issued handgun. Even though the shoot was taking place in cuckoo bananas Hollywood, something seemed amiss. Turns out Swardson was playing Lady Gaga's brother, Gary Gaga, just a guy trying to keep it real while keeping the streets safe.
After Swardson completed a standard traffic stop in front of confused passersby, I sat down with him to discuss his new sketch show, as well as some upcoming features. Luckily he had taken off the gaudy Gaga attire, so I could concentrate on the task at hand.

In this clip from the Season 2 premiere of "Ugly Americans," Mark counsels Tim the two-headed work creature and gives psychiatric evaluations to the Department of Integration employees. I had no idea that the left heads of two headed worm creatures have been so persecuted throughout history, from separate drinking fountains to forced prostitution. It really is a right head world. It's the very reason I chopped the other head off years ago. I only have two now.
"Ugly Americans" premieres on Comedy Central tonight at 10:30/9:30c after an all new "South Park."
Does the crappy screen shot above look familiar? It should. It's Norm MacDonald hosting the 1998 ESPY awards for ESPN. His performance insulted so many athletes that he was never asked to return, but it's still one of the funniest, bravest performances you'll ever see.
Now, over ten years later, Norm is returning to the world of sports with his own sports-talk show on Comedy Central.
The show would be a satirical look at the sports world. On board with MacDonald is Daniel Kellison, a veteran TV producer whose credits include ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Man Show,” according to person familiar with the project…
I know some people (like our friends at Warming Glow) are afraid Norm isn't a good fit as a talk show host. And I see their point. But if he can manage to create a show that's half as funny as the following clip, it will still be hilarious. (Show Tracker)

Comedian/actor Nick Swardson has a new show coming to Comedy Central in October called "Nick Swardson's Pretend Time." I was invited to visit the set a few months ago, and will share some of that footage with you once it gets closer to the premiere date. I know you guys are savages though, so in the meantime, here's a clip about a disabled cat in a wheelchair. His name is Mr. Stitches the Trust Fund Kitty and he rolls around with b*tches and blow just like Stephen Hawking.
I'm officially sold on this show. I've loved Nick Swardson's particular brand of humor ever since I caught his early stand-up special way back when. In my book, any man who mixes drugs, boobs, and felines without feeling below the waste deserves a shot. It's a weird book I keep. (WarmingGlow)

Copper Cab, you have been warned.
Zachary Adam Chesser, a Virginia man, has been arrested for threats he made against "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Incensed over the show's depiction of the Prophet Mohammad in a bear costume, Chesser posted graphic images of slain Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh with the warning that Parker and Stone would end up dead as well. Muslims love themselves some Prophet Mohammad and many regard any depiction of the Prophet as offensive. For the extremists, that offense is punishable by death. You should see what they do when you break the rules of Fight Club.
Chesser was prevented from boarding a flight earlier this month from New York to Uganda. It was his intention to then travel on to Somalia where he would join the terrorist organization al Shabaab. Chesser became interested in Islam in 2008, but claims to not believe in or condone acts of terrorism or violence. Unless you consider posting death threats accompanied by mutilated corpses on the Internet as a show of support. That's a gray area. (Reuters)
Seth MacFarlane has stolen the Friars Club crown and sceptre from insult king Jeffrey Ross, as Comedy Central has chosen the "Family Guy" creator to head the Roast of David Hasselhoff. The evening, which is sure to not lack in fast food-centric material, will also feature Pamela Anderson, Whitney Cummings, Greg Giraldo, Lisa Lampanelli, (a scorned) Jeffrey Ross, Jerry Springer, and Hulk Hogan. Ah yes, the wild card. There's always one of them, like Bea Arthur at the Pam Anderson Roast or George Takai at the Shatner one. I just hope Hogan is writing his own material instead of using Lampenelli's toss-outs. The jokes about black guys wanting to f*ck him won't pack the same punch. (Movieline)
The other day I had the opportunity to speak with comedian and actor JB Smoove about his current and upcoming projects, his unique approach to stand-up comedy, and a way…
Daniel Tosh is back as master curator of viral videos. He chooses, pokes fun at, and even parodies some of the distractions you wait for your co-workers to IM you on a daily basis. One such video that I'm sure you helped infect the internet with is the Worst Wedding DJ Ever. The guy basically plays the bongos on a woman's floppy boobies. So why wouldn't Tosh get Motley Crue drummer and known lothario Tommy Lee to reenact that? Check out Lee beating away on some "cymbals" after the jump. "Tosh.0" premieres tonight at 10:30PM/9:30c on Comedy Central.
Comedy Central announced today that they will roast actor/singer/burger spokesman David Hasselhoff this summer. The special will air on August 15th as part of a themed block with showings of "Taking Candy From Babies" and Shooting Fish. In the press release, Hasselhoff affirms his willingness to accept money for tauntings:"I'm honored that Comedy Central is going to get 'Hoff' on me. I have always been a major fan of Roasts, dating back to the days of the 'Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts.' Laughter is the best medicine. Bring it on! I’m ready to take the heat."This is too easy. How can we be certain that this isn't an elaborate ruse engineered solely for the capture of Norm MacDonald? Is OJ behind this?? (CC Insider)
The Birth of Day Man from Always Sunny – Watch more Funny Videos Two cheers for syndication! One of your favorite shows in this whole big, wide universe is coming to TV sets on a more regular basis. Starting tonight at 9pm/8c, "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" will drag you kicking and screaming into rerun heaven every Monday on Comedy Central with four back-to-back episodes. The Gang can be your real friends because real friends are overrated, right The Gang? You can't see, but Charlie Day just nodded his head at me. Eeeeeee, I'm so popular! To get you in the mood, I've posted a clip of one of the best scenes of all time from the show. You've probably seen Charlie and Dennis sing "Day-Man" a good thousand times, but why don't you just stop complaining, huff some more of that spray paint, and click play. Catch "Always Sunny" tonight at 9pm/8c on Comedy Central.
Drawn Together – Watch more Funny Videos The show "Drawn Together" may have been cancelled, but that door closing left one giant window open for a movie. The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! pulls a post-modern, meta headtrip by centering on the housemates, who deduce their show has been cancelled after they realize they can swear without being bleeped. "Family Guy" mastermind Seth MacFarlane also has a cameo as I.S.R.A.E.L. (Intelligent Smart Robot Animation Lady). Judging by MacFarlane's participation and the necrophilia in the above trailer, there's a good chance this could be one helluva laugh/vomit inducing cartoon caper. Haha. Right in the nuts.Thank God. Now comedy nerds can go into a sports bar and enjoy 10 Cent Wing Night without fear of ridicule from the jocks. Comedy Central has ordered ten episodes of the sports-themed satire "Onion Sports Network," allowing nerds everywhere to bluff their way through sports conversations when, in truth, their sports knowledge is limited to the third act of Major League. A spin-off of the popular newspaper, website, and recently-announced TV show, "OSN" will target teams, athletes, fans, and ridiculous endorsements with "the same sharpness we've seen applied to the world of politics and popular culture." (THR) A taste of things to come, after the jump….

Tosh.0 Still Brings the Pain – Watch more Funny VideosDaniel Tosh is back to bring you the best viral videos on the web, and even hunt down and interview the whackjobs who are the featured stars/victims/sad excuses for the gift of life.
