The creepy text scroll that starts the film off alone makes this worth watching, but what follows – a hyper-stylized assassination inside a barren subway car – is even cooler.  It’s right out of the original anime, which told us the story of a Vampire named Saya who hunts bloodsucking demons for the government. 

Blood: The Last Vampire slices into UK cinemas on June 19th, and then North America in July.
