Writer Clay Wold based the script on his family’s experience with the tragedy. His brother was a clerk on Timothy McVeigh’s defense team. In a word: yikes. I guess someone’s gonna defend the Timothy McVeigh’s of the world, right? Actually, from the bit of plot description, it sounds like Wold’s brother might have bee fighting the good fight from the inside:

The clerk’s determination to expose the truth led to a bigger conspiracy and nearly destroyed the young man.

The film will be financed and produced by Peter Safran, who needs some good movie karma after producing Meet The Spartans and Vampires Suck. Maybe he considers making Disaster Movie to be a logical stepping stone to tackling Oklahoma City? I know I would. (Deadline)
