Well, judging from this clip from Driven, which you can watch here, Nicolas Winding Refn is doing his part to bring back the cool car chase movie. The fifth season of “Mad Men” has been pushed back all the way to early 2012. For fans of the show, that feels like an eternity. After all, the series has already been on hiatus since October, meaning that even if it returns next January, it will have been off the air for 15 months. • Harry Potter will be a thing of the past, as all of the films in the series will have been released. Unfortunately, the Twilight series will remain undead.
• A reboot of the Spider-Man reboot will be in active development.
• The 2012 Presidential primary season will be underway.
• Katie Couric will be out at CBS news after nearly five years, while that old bastard Andy Rooney will celebrate is 103rd year with the network.
• FX will have premiered and canceled no less than five critically acclaimed yet poorly rated shows.
• Oprah Winfrey will end her show, and the country will be shocked by the simultaneous suicides of two million bored housewives.
• Christina Hendricks’ breasts will be slightly closer to her knees.
• The show will be forced to write a storyline in which the character of Bobby gets his first pube.
• Julian Assange will have leaked the script for the season 5 finale. All your waiting will have been for naught.

The film, scripted by playwright (and Lakeview Terrace director!!) Neil Labute and directed by Mike Figgis, concerns the lives of several people who interconnect over a series of vignettes. Hendricks will play a woman who catches her husband, played by Brendan Fraser, in a compromising position. Julia Stiles, Matt Dillon, and Kristen Scott Thomas will also star. If you’re looking for a twist that will make this different than everyone other indie movie about separate lives connecting BESIDES the fact that it will star Encino Man, how’s about THIS doozy: The whole thing takes take place on an airplane!! It’s hard to believe, but even in a society that’s as sick and depraved as our own, there are still some actresses who refuse to go topless. That’s insane! Using my neighbor’s Wifi connection, I can see countless women getting completely naked and doing awful things to each other, and I get to watch that for free! But just because some “actresses” majored in theater, they’re too good to get topless in movies I’m paying for? That’s insulting not only to me, but to the millions of girls around the world who sell their bodies for money on a daily basis.

Well, the only way to rectify this situation is to identify the worst offenders and shame them into doing the right thing. With that in mind, I’ve complied this list of 30 actresses we’d love to see topless. Hopefully, they’ll stop putting on airs and give the viewing public what they want.

The correct answer is Sterling Cooper secretary Christina Hendricks. It’s hard to tell without her trademark red hair and a hallway for her to strut down while men whistle.

Now, on the one hand, here’s super-hot early Christina Hendricks in Playboy. On the other hand, that clown is seriously freaking me out. The Weinstein Co. is off-setting the casting of Sarah Jessica Parker in I Don’t Know How She Does It by jamming this thing full with nerd-crushes.”Mad Men‘s” Christina Hendricks and”The Daily Show‘s” Olivia Munn have agreed to distract the audience in the new romantic comedy.

Hendricks will play a friend of Parker’s who is plagued with back problems. Munn plays a colleague of Parker’s at the financial firm where she is a high-powered career woman who juggles her busy work life with motherhood. To ensure this film achieves total vanillability, Seth Myers, Pierce Brosnan, and Kelsey Grammer have all joined in unspecified roles, though it’s believed Myers will play the character that continually breaks character. Nominations for the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards have been announced, and The King’s Speech leads the pack with seven nods. I guess it’s no surprise that a foreign film is cleaning up at a sham award show put on by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. If I gave a damn what foreigners thought, I’d talk to my friggen maid. She has a degree in Foreign Affairs from USC, and she really keeps up on current events.

Hot off both an Emmy and a fictional Clio Award win, "Mad Men" is going stronger than ever. The fourth season has slyly reinvented the show and ably guided it out of the bummerific territory it normally explored. Rolling Stone stopped by the set and snapped off a few pretty cool candids of Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks, January Jones, and crew. My only complaint, needs more Blankenship.

Adrien Brody has signed on for cuckoo bird director Tony Kaye‘s Detached. Brody will star as a substitute teacher who becomes attached to a teenage prostitute while working at a troubled school. He later gets in trouble when he shows a gay film in class in an attempt to teach tolerance. I’m going out on a limb here and guessing it was Victor Salva’s Clownhouse.

Christina Hendricks also stars as a teacher and potential love interest who encourages Brody’s sub to go full-time. Brody has proven talented in a number of complex roles but this may be his greatest challenge yet. Can you imagine trying not to look at Christina Hendricks‘s boobs all day, every day?
