In preparation for his upcoming role on Children’s Hospital as hospital founder, Arthur Childrens, Jon Hamm is now sporting a nose-neighbor. Whether the ‘stache is real or not, is not important. What matters here is that I totally called that sh*t like almost forever ago. I believe this justifies Screen Junkies right to exclusive access to videos or Jon Hamm shaving and sharing his insights on facial hair. Let’s make this happen. We own cameras and everything.

Comic-Con 2011: Paul Scheer Films ‘NTSF:SD:SVU’ During Panel Discussion

Lots of actors bring clips of their shows to Comic-Con. A few minutes ago, Paul Scheer went one step further by actually filming a segment of his new Adult Swim show NTSF:SD:SVU during a panel discussion for the program.

After a brief introduction, Sheer and the rest of the cast took to the audience, filming a scene in which a terrorist steals a clip of The Hobbit and threatens to move the convention to Vancouver. The whole thing lasted about five minutes, and will probably only make for about 30 seconds of usable footage. That said, if you happen to catch the segment, be thankful that televisions only allow you to experience sight and not smell. The Adult Swim audience knows their humor, but they don’t seem to know about deodorant (I kid because I love…but honestly, it smells in here).

10 Potential New Cast Members For ‘The Office’

As we reported earlier today, “The Office” is casting for some new spots on the show. The first is for the role of Pam’s new assistant, who is described as smart, pleasant, and “Scranton hot.” The second character is a young man in his first full-time job who is “good-looking, but not WB looking.” Last, and still a rumor, is Stanley’s daughter, who has already appeared on the show.

I put together a list of actors/actresses who might be a good fit for these roles. Take a look, and see if you agree. If not, make your own damn list (in the comment section, please).

Pam’s Assistant

Erinn Hayes
She’s smart, likable, and her work on “Children’s Hospital” proves she knows her way around a comedy. Plus, she recently gave us a shout out, so we’re big fans. Also, fellow “C.H.” star Rob Huebel has been playing Holly’s now ex-boyfriend on”The Office,” so he can put in a good word.

Abby Elliott
She looks the part, and she’s on “SNL,” so all the bases are covered. Plus, she’s Chris Elliott’s daughter, and I’m old enough to remember “Get a Life.”

Nasim Pedrad
Another “SNL” cast member, Nasim Pedrad would also fit nicely with the cast. Plus, she’s hot. Maybe a little too hot for the role, but no one’s going to complain about that.

Demi Lovato
She’s about the right age, and she’d bring a huge ratings boost among pre-teen girls. Plus, you know she’ll do it since she needs the money to support her habit.

The Office New Guy

Paul Brittain
Brittain’s the right age for the part, and he’s proven his comedic skills. I’m clearly favoring ‘SNL” cast members. They can’t work that horrific schedule forever!

Dominic Dierkes
His fellow sketch partner, Donald Glover, has a show on NBC. Now it’s Dominic’s turn.

Michael Cera
He’s already been in one of the greatest television comedies of all time. And now that Jesse Eisenberg has stolen his thunder, perhaps another hit show is in order.

John Mulaney
Lot’s of stand-up comedians have made the leap to sitcoms. Of course, a lot of those sitcoms quickly made the leap to canceled, but even so, Mulaney is a funny guy who would make a good fit.

Stanley’s Daughter

Jazz Raycole
Since she’s already played the part on a few episodes, I’d imagine she has the inside track. After all, why change a horse in midstream?

Gabourey Sidibe
Gabourey can act, and that’s always a plus. It’s true she looks nothing like the character did a few years back, but people change. After all, Stanley is diabetic, so maybe it runs in the family.

Rob Corddry’s ‘Children’s Hospital’ Headed to Adult Swim

Cartoon Network has announced the addition of Rob Corddry’s medical spoof, "Children’s Hospital," to its Adult Swim lineup.

The Webby Award-winning series, which began airing on TheWB.com in 2008, regularly skewers medical melodramas such as "Grey’s Anatomy" and "House." For those of you who don’t know, "The Webby" is a trophy made of my old toilet paper rolls and empty Kleenex boxes that is presented annually to the best original series on the Internet.

Cartoon Network will begin airing the five-minute webisodes back to back until August 22, at which time they will be replaced with 12 made-for-TV episodes, each with a 10-minute run time. This web-to-television transition gives hope to all of us "Internet writers" who aren’t lucky enough to have a funny dad or a friend with a funny dad. Screw you, Patrick. (Variety)
