He’ll star as a serial killer in the film Maniac. The film follows Woods’ character as he finds and stalks his victims via the Internet. To make matters even creepier, he’ll be working in a mannequin factory. I can’t wait for a video of Happy Feet footage re-dubbed with Maniac audio.

The project sounds pretty dark, and Sin City taught us that Wood can pull off psycho killer pretty well. But from that description it doesn’t seem very original. It’s clearly inspired by The Craigslist Killer. That or the life of any one of his less-successful child actor peers. (Deadline)
