The untitled Caesar film will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman, who recently finished Battle: Los Angeles. The film will be written by Chris Boal, who has something of an affinity for Caesar scripts, recently wrote the play 23 Knives, which focuses on Caesar’s autopsy. Should everything come together on this project, the idea is to follow it up with a second film that follows Caesar’s entry to Egypt and his (*spoiler alert for dropouts*) eventual assassination.
