Pneumonia has claimed another comedy legend. Pink Panther creator Blake Edwards passed away today at the age of 88. His film resume boasts an impressive list of classics: The Pink Panther films, The Party, Breakfast At Tiffany’s, and Blind Date to name a few. Between 10, S.O.B., and Skin Deep, he was also a hero when it came to convincing hot actresses to do topless scenes.

It was his work with Peter Sellers that had the biggest impact on me. Especially The Party. If you haven’t seen that, I’ll loan you my copy. I just need your to hold your favorite thing as collateral. (LA Times)
