The story follows a fourteen-year old who tells his parents he’s going on a ski trip, only to hide out in his basement where he comes into close contact with his heroin-addicted older half-sister. I can see why it was decided that tale must be told stereoscopically. Nothing thrills the eyes more than a moody meditation on nature vs. nurture. It only makes sense we’d want that pumped directly into our brains in the rawest form possible. (Variety)
