Dayman IPA, oh how I would enjoy you if I could at all stomach the taste of IPAs. But alas, you’re not for me.

Those who aren’t prone to such a distaste or flowery introductions might enjoy the newly announced beer resulting from a collaboration between the show and Stone Brewing Co. (from California), Two Brother’s Brewing Co. (from Illinois) and Aleman (also from Illinois).

That’s a lot of parties to get involved with a drink that may or may not taste like Charlie Kelly.

The new brew hits in March.

Let’s All Have Mixed Feelings About The New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Beers

Familiar with Brewery Ommegang? Probably not, because they have a silly name that few can remember long enough to repeat. But that might change after Brewery Ohmygod teams up with HBO to offer the thirsty, lethargic masses offers up the first of four Game of Thrones-inspired and branded beers to quench your thirst.

The brewery states that the beers will “directly tie into themes, characters, and nuances” of the show, so if your beer tastes like incest or ambition, don’t worry. It’s supposed to taste that way.

The first beer comes out on March 31, corresponding to the third season premiere.

“OH MAN! THIS IS ALL A CHEAP PUBLICITY STUNT!!!!”

Said the slow gentleman from the back of the room.

Will Ferrell For ‘Old Milwaukee’ Beer

Will Ferrell has loaned his fame to his favorite beer maker, and now Old Milwaukee can proudly say that they are the only beer endorsed by the star of Semi-Pro. Ferrell reportedly (though A.V. Club smells a viral marketing rat) approached Old Milwaukee as “a big fan of the beer,” with the request to do commercials for them. However, the commercials would only be aimed at the Davenport, Iowa Quad City marketplace. A man has to have some principles.

What remains unknown at this point is if this is some kind of soft roll-out for a bigger campaign that will eventually feature John C. Reilly also acting silly for the beer while Adam Scott stands around looking sarcastic and skeptical. Whatever. It would still be better than Budweiser’s farting horses.

The Cherokee say that as long as you remember a man in a horribly-dated alcohol commercial, he’s never truly gone. If that’s true, friends and family of the late Patrick Swayze can take solace in the fact that the beloved star of Road House will live on forever, or at least until YouTube pulls down this commercial for copyright violations.

You have to give “The Swayze” credit. The man was the king of pre-irony. Who else had the foresight to attach themselves to both Road House and PBR? Hipsters should put up a statue of his likeness in Greenwich Village.
