Alex Pettyfer of ‘I Am Number Four’ and ‘Beastly’ might make a young adult lit adaptation hat trick with Gary Ross’s ‘The Hunger Games’.

It would have made twice as much if Jon Lovitz had been voicing the lead role.

Beastly is basically the retelling of Beauty and the Beast, except the beast in question is just a bald dude with a bunch of facial tattoos. I’m not sure that really qualifies as beastly. People pay to have that sh*t done.

As far as up-and-coming actresses go, Beastly actress Vanessa Hudgens is a weird case.
