Interview: G4TV’s Alison Haislip
Tuesday, September 7 by

My favorite media event of the entire year is the Television Critics Association press tour. For two weeks, every network and cable station brings their talent to have presentations with their stars and producers for the TV critics. At night they host parties where you can just roam around and find celebrities to pester.

Comcast Networks held their party outdoors in the Oasis Garden at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. When I found G4 “Attack of the Show’s” Alison Haislip, she was shivering in a clingy black skirt. At least it wasn’t as bad as the lingerie models floating in the fountain. I found Haislip a heat lamp where we could chat about guest hosting for Olivia Munn, old school video games, and technology.

Screen Junkies: Were you always grooming yourself to fill in on “Attack of the Show” or was there an opening you seized?

Sara Underwood is a former Playboy Playmate of the Year and Oregon State University student. She's filled in for Olivia Munn on "Attack of the Show" and recently helped wash cars with a group of Princess Leias in bikinis. A word from Sara: "I hate closeminded people who think they know it all."You'll love me. My mind's as empty as my tolerance for people who are different than me. More pics of the Playmate after the jump.

COMIC-CON 2009 ROUNDUP
Tuesday, July 28 by

Fellow Junkies, Comic-Con has come and gone, as has Screen Junkies from San Diego.  It was our first ever trip down to Comic-Con and it will not be our last, but we learned a lot.  Mostly, we learned that you have to surrender to the fact that you can't cover EVERYTHING at Comic-Con.  Here's everything we DID cover:   AVATAR Video clips of James Cameron speaking about AVATAR just moments after having unveiled 25-minutes of the film to Hall H @ Comic-Con.

This afternoon, Olivia Munn, Kevin Pereira, Blair Butler and producers behind G4's megahit ATTACK OF THE SHOW held court in Room 5AB of the San Diego Convention Center for a little over an hour.  The line to get in looked like it went about half the length of the entire San Diego Convention Center, and we're willing to bet over 500 people had to be turned away in the end.  Too bad.  Everyone who did get in received a complimentary kazoo and glowstick (more on these later)Introducing the show was none other than Apple's "Steve Jobs," and we have his entire 4-minute address here.  Fast forward to the end if you just want a glimpse of Ms. Munn stepping out to her adoring fans.
