Men In Black III has suffered it’s first casualty. The topsy-turvy production schedule has caused Manny from Quiet On The Chef Gourmet Catering to leave the project. He’s reportedly upset to have to jump ship but he’s got to pay his bills. Alec Baldwin is also leaving.
This will truly be a ‘Rock of Ages’ now.
Seeing Elizabeth Banks play the uber-ambitious media queen Avery Jessup on “30 Rock” gives us an idea of how far she can stretch her comedy chops.
Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin and Isla Fisher will be voicing our childhood icons in Dreamworks’ Rise of the Guardians.
He might be #1 on the list to replace Keith Olbermann. I still think he should stick to selling microwaves.
Is it time to see if another comedian can not only act in a not-completely-slapstick role, but also SING? Well, it’s that time for Russell Brand, who is the newest purported cast addition to ‘Rock of Ages’.
Alec Baldwin can’t get enough of Wegman’s homecooked $6 meals. This awkward commercial proves it. How much did they have to pay Baldwin to agree to this awful campaign? It had to be upwards of 10,000 homecooked $6 meals.
While Ghostbusters 3 is seeming less and less likely, another ghoul film from the 80's may be getting closer to a sequel. Actor Michael Keaton has expressed interest in reprising his role of Beetlejuice, the ghost with the most. When asked about the possibility, Keaton replied, "Absolutely, that's the one thing I'd love to do again." I would have guessed that the "one thing" Keaton would have chosen to revisit would have been Mr. Mom, or maybe Gung Ho. But that's just me.Considering his Beetle Juice co-star Geena Davis has already expressed interest, it's probably only a matter of time before a studio throws money at yet another 80's nostalgia project. Of course, this is provided Alec Baldwin isn't too busy with "30 Rock," and Winona Ryder isn't too busy shoplifting! Zing! That joke is just as relevant as it was nine years ago! (DeadCentral)
The poster for Nancy Meyers's It's Complicated shows Oscar co-host Alec Baldwin and Oscar winner Meryl Streep in post-coital bliss. Actually, Baldwin has a look of contented bliss and Streep has a look of dissatisfied worry (obviously he stole a page from my playbook). At any rate, gross Mom and Dad!!!Also, does Alec Baldwin always look like Keyboard Cat after sex?
This morning Variety reports that Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will be double-teaming the 82nd Academy Awards. Oscar co-producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman didn't waste much time in snagging the duo as we told you yesterday that Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. had turned down the offer to co-host. Martin has the experience of both hosting and having had worked with Shankman in the past on Bringing Down the House. Sounds like two pretty solid hosts but oh, how we do wish that Baldwin were splitting hosting duties with Tracy Morgan.BALDWIN: "Are you excited to be here tonight, Tracy?"MORGAN: "I'm gonna get Oscar pregnant!"BALDWIN: "Ha ha. Now Tracy, stick to the script."MORGAN: "Sure thing, Alec B.. (long pause) I wanna break Helen Mirren's water!!"
