<p>Hollywood is going old-school. Actually it&#8217;s more like Old Testament. Both <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/and-satan-laughed-warner-bros-trying-for-wizard-of-oz-remake-with-robert-zemeckis/" target="_blank">Warner Bros.</a> and <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/20th-century-fox/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>20th Century Fox</a> are developing films based on <a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/the-book-of-eli-actress-jennifer-beals/" target="_blank">the book of</a> Exodus, which contains the story of Moses leading the <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/jews/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>Jews</a> out of Egypt. Seems like a smart move considering Bible movies are like cat nip for flyover states.</p>
<p>At Fox, Bill Collage and Adam Cooper are penning the screenplay for &#8216;Untitled Moses Project,&#8221; while at Warner Bros., Stuart Hazeldine and Michael Green are writing <em>Moses</em>. Clearly, Warner Bros. is off to a better start in the name department. But considering that Collage and Cooper were the brains behind the Olsen-twins movie, <em>New York Minute</em>, let&#8217;s not count Fox out just yet.
