‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ Actress Rooney Mara
Tuesday, April 27 by

Rooney Mara is the little sister of uber-hottie Kate Mara. Even I'd feel self-conscious living in Kate's shadow, and I'm an adonis. Rooney starred alongside Michael Cera in Youth in Revolt, and can be seen as Nancy in the Nightmare On Elm Street remake/reboot/reimagining coming out this Friday.A word from Rooney: "For Halloween, my mom asked me what I wanted to be. I said Klara, the crippled girl in the movie Heidi."You clever, fox. Dress up like a cripple, everyone will assume you're disabled, and you'll reap the candy benefits. Check out more pics of the very able-bodied Rooney after the jump.

‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ Trailer, Now with Quicker Cuts
Tuesday, April 6 by

This updated trailer for A Nightmare on Elm Street played before Clash of the Titans this weekend. It has a tiny bit of new footage in it, mostly of Aaron Yoo playing the same character he did in Disturbia, Friday the 13th, and 21. The number of cuts in this trailer have also been increased, bringing about a greater sense of uneasiness. Frankly I thought the glove with the razer sharp blades gave me goosebumps just fine. The glove and Aaron Yoo. Check out the more kinetic trailer after the jump.

Freddy Krueger Figure Will Haunt Your Dreams
Wednesday, November 25 by

Here's a first look at the new Freddy Kreuger figure fashioned by NECA. Click on the image to get a bigger view. Unfortunately it won't be available before the holidays, so you can't give it to mom, but Randy Falk of NECA says, "We are working on figures from the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street and at least two figures will be out for the release of the film with possibly more to follow." A Nightmare on Elm Street opens in theaters on April 30, 2010. Reenactments of the film using the Freddy Kreuger figure will follow soon after in homes around the country. (via ComingSoon)
