'Avatar' Bootleg Trailer

Sorry for the crappy bootleg version, but it's the best quality that exists online right now. You'll have to go to the theaters this weekend to see a better version of this three-minute Cliff's Notes epic on the big screen. Then... AND ONLY THEN... can we fairly judge the film's entire worth.

The other trailer was more intriguing. I don't know why they released an even blander trailer. The time has come and gone for live action movies like this. The incredible trailers for games like World of Warcraft point to the direction some movies should be made. I would love to see Blizzard make an entire movie on WOW that is like it's trailers. I think James Cameron is so caught up in his world that he doesn't realize that people play video games every day that have a plot more intriguing than Avatar's. That's the problem with Hollywood. The ones in power who can make the movies they want are older and have usually passed their creative prime, which usually occurs in your 20's and 30's. The older and wealthy directors also don't understand what average people are doing and are out of touch, thus they think people still want to see a movie about aliens because they don't see aliens or space anywhere else than movies. Wrong. The other thing I don't like is that this movie has such a plain storyline that people may like in a movie, yet never follow in real life. People always take material wealth over the environment.
