Legacy is so full of cleverness that not many people will get it all watching it just once. For those of you who haven't seen Tron and or didn't understand it, there will be a thousand references to which you will probably miss then in Legacy, but even without them, this production goes far beyond anything else ever produced to date. What the story eludes to is something most wonderful in the realm of human evolution. Here is us in the very near future. You'd better believe it. In fact we are half way there already. And the part when I cried? when the words were uttered that she (the iso) had 'left the equation' - it's pure poetry, a zen thing. And just like the rest of the movie, in the words of the great man Kesey 'You're either on the bus or off the bus' sure you can see the bus go by if you're not on it, but you will never know what it's like to be on the actual ride. And to truly appreciate this magnificent movie... (gosh those light cycles! they will be in my sensual head forever now and Michael Sheen? may the goddess give me strength not to do anything rash in the theatre) please please whatever you do, get to know Tron. Then do as the man behind the production suggests and then go see Legacy up close. In 3D Imax. Sit approx row three or thereabouts until you have the screen covering your peripherals. Sit back and enter the vision, don't just look at it. And then as the author of this article suggests also... ''This is a world you’ll want to revisit again and again.' If small instances of egotistical amazing-ness are something that one feels that one needs to discuss ;) then I'm out of here to watch it all over again.
