I've visited family there 3 times in the last 7 years and I can tell you it is even worse now than in the movie because of the wall the Israelis have built imprisoning the Palestinians, and it is just expanding more and more. Miral is a wonderful film and I am glad you gave it a positive review, unlike so many critics out there. It dares to show the truth about what is really happening there. I wish more Americans understood what is going on in Palestine and how life is such a struggle out there for the Palestinians under their illegal occupation by Israel.
