Submitted for fanboy approval: One (1) melodramatic image of Kili and Fili, in a stance that makes them look more like they're posing for a Hobbit chess set in SkyMall than anything else.

In promoting The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Peter Jackson has been cranking out these images of dwarves for the past two weeks or so, and, since the first batch, it's been a little difficult to a) get excited about more pics, and b) really notice a difference between any of the characters.

So allow me to help.

As mentioned above, the likenesses here are of Fili and Kili, played by Dean O'Gorman and Aidan Turner, respectively. The two are the youngest representatives of a party that embarks on The Quest of Erebor. These little guys will accompany that other, more famous little guy, Bilbo Baggins, to retrieve a treasure guarded by a dragon named Smaug. Not "Smog," "Smaug."

So with that, bask in the glory of this promotional photograph. And enjoy Fili's swords. Those things are actually kind of badass.
