Remember that hole in your heart that opened up when you heard that Method Man and Redman decided to scrap How High 2? Well, it’s about to get filled. With weed smoke. And a lot of love. But more weed smoke.
Notorious teetotalers Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa have decided to produce High School, a film that will accompany an collaborative album. So the film is an afterthought to ride the coattails of a novelty album by two guys who haven’ taken anything seriously since Doggystyle and birth, respectively. Filmmaking at its finest. Khalifa so eloquently puts it:
“It’s about pot, of course. But it’s about mine and his relationship. A spin-off of us being cool in the industry, smoking a lot of weed, being around a lot of weed. We’re going to try to have fun with it and also try to enlighten people at the same time, not just get everybody high.”
Feeling as though he didn’t quite capture the scope of this undertaking, he added, “It’s a big deal.” Something tells me that this film will be anything but a “big deal.” This may in fact be the smallest deal this website has reported on since our 14th Sheen update.
Snoop Dogg has not yet been reached for comment, but will probably have something like “Izzle my chuch,” to say about the whole affair. To Khalifa’s comment, I wish they would just get everyone high. (A.V. Club)
