According to Deadline, Lionsgate is looking at further compounding the success of the Hunger Games franchise, this time in the form of a fun theme park ride or attraction. Fun right?

First of all, they're getting the ball rolling on this WAY too early. The rule is (according to Universal Studios, at least) you get a big franchise, then, ten years after the franchise dies, you unveil the new ride/show. Why? I have no idea. But that's how it was done with Simpsons 3D, Bill and Ted, Waterworld, Back to the Future, and the upcoming Harry Potter attraction.

In addition to the fact that this is just happening soooooooooo soon, it's also not totally clear how one would approach a Hunger Games ride. Would it take place in the Capitol? Would they cover the audience in mud like Peeta did to hide? Will it offer Wes Bentley steady work?

We shall see.
