Oliver Stone's adaptation of The Savages has picked up another talented actor. Fidel Castro. Well, not the real Fidel Castro but the guy who played him really well in Steven Soderbergh's Che. Demian Bichir is joining Aaron Johnson, Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Uma Thurman, Salma Hayek, John Travolta, Benicio Del Toro, and Emile Hirsch on the project.

Bichir (who is getting high praise for his performance in A Better Life) will play the double-crossing lawyer of the Mexican cartel that's run by Hayek. Not sure why he'd want to double-cross the Mexican cartel. Seems like a good way to be thrown to the bottom of the sea. Which I guess is too cliche even by brutal cartel standards. They'll eff him up though. That's my point.
