Beatty has been meeting with some A-list talent to co-star in the film that Deadline claims includes “Andrew Garfield, Alec Baldwin, Annette Bening, Shia La Beouf, Jack Nicholson, Evan Rachel Wood and Rooney Mara.” A pretty solid group that appears to be clearly divided between young and old. Perhaps the young ones will play the principal characters in flashbacks.

Warren Beatty has been wanting to play Hughes for years, so expect him to pull no punches in this passion project. Word is he has completely stopped talking to Bening until she agrees to do the project. What a pro.
