Wanna See J.J. Abrams’ ‘Star Wars’ Films With A Live Orchestra? Now You Can*

Play that funky music, white boys and girls.

If you wanted to like the new J.J. Abrams Star Trek films, but thought they SUCKED because the music was recorded and not played live by an orchestra hired to accompany the film a half-dozen times a day at thousands of theaters nationwide…Well, you have very high standards for entertainment.

Nonetheless, your day will be made to learn that both Star Trek and Star Trek 2: Keep on Trekkin’ will be on a roadshow with fancy symphonies and orchestras and all that, played in their entirety with a live score.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because Lord of the Rings had done it with great success. Probably because it sounds like a pretty awesome idea, and a great new way to experience a film. I mean, even if you don’t like Star Trek, this sounds pretty interesting.

HOWEVER, you will have to travel a great distance should you not live in Houston, Philadelphia, San Diego, Chicago, Lucerne, London, Toronto, San Francisco, or Boston. But that’s all part of a bigger issue of why you keep putting off moving to Houston.

It’s time to make the leap.

Dates and tickets here.
