I’m gonna have to side with Spike Lee on this one. All Perry’s shows are basically Teletubbies in black-face.

The three or four serious movies TP made I thought were good drama – Daddy’s little girl, Family that Preys together, Why did I get married, Push and I believe a few others. I understand the Madea movies they put him on the map and allowed him to do more. But enough is enough, do more TP & SP there are stories out there regarding people of color, their history and life. If not on the big screen how about PBS which is free and according to history it was created for those with limited voice (POC and no voice). It is time for us to use it before it disappears.
