Actor Tim Roth is one of the best there is at looking serious in both independent film and mainstream Hollywood product. And now he has the perfect opportunity to look serious on a new project, with Nicholas Jarecki's drama Arbitrage along with fellow serious-face Richard Gere. Here's a serious plot synopsis:
"Jarecki's script focuses on a troubled hedge fund magnate, so desperate to sell his trading empire that when he makes a mistake he turns to an unlikely person for help and that leads him down a dangerous trail."

That sounds pretty good (seriously), and the addition of Tim Roth is always a welcome improvement. And as everyone knows, Richard Gere is a decent actor. Hopefully the rest of the movie will live up to his decent standards. (Deadline)
