Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, and Edgar Wright have served as the sort of Scorsese-DiCaprio synergy for the intellectual schlubs. With that kind of demographic, one best believe that the audiences at Comic-Con were wondering if the trio would be parting ways, having knocked out their third film together, following Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead.

Breathe easy, nerds. After The World's End premieres on August 23rd, the gang plans on getting back together to do "whatever they want." Must be nice.

Anyway, Edgar Wright films starring Frost and Pegg have become something of an intermittent treat, along the lines of a free Girl Talk album. They may not change the world, but they're enjoyable on a level that's sublime in a way that most stuff just isn't.

So good news from that front. Updates to continue...
