GK Films has acquired the rights to the blog by Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett, who will write and direct the big screen adaptation. The plot concerns thre brothers living in three different metropolitan cities (NY, London, and LA), depending on each others help and support with their various relationships and romantic problems. The project is also being spun out into a book through Simon and Schuster.
Lest you think this is a case of blogger gets lucky, Levin and Flackett are actually successful screenwriters whose credits include Nim’s Island, Little Manhattan, and Journey to the Center of the Earth. The two had the website idea while they were working on the script for this very film. They’ve said that have over 2,000 testimonials recorded so far.
