‘The King’s Speech’ & Gay Porn Share Locations, Universal Acclaim

Wednesday, February 23 by

Not really, but the first part is 100% true! The King’s Speech, Tom Hooper’s surprise hit that’s up for about every award you could possibly win, filmed scenes set in Geoffrey Rush‘s character’s office at 33 Portland Place, the same location used for UK porn director Jonno’s gay porn film, Snookered.

There was no overlap though, as Snookered shot in August of 2008, and The King’s Speech was shot in 2009. Imagine the extra stammering that would have come out of Colin Firth if he’d walked onto set and accidentally interrupted a crucial Snookered money shot. It would have cost Jonno a Goscar!* Astonishing (and safe for work) proof is below. (Movieline)

oh yeah, all the excitement for the oscars totally overshadowed this year’s goscars.
