Steve Carell is going to make us have feelings. The comedian is making a shift toward the dramatic by producing and starring in The Priority List: A Teacher’s Final Quest to Discover Life’s Greatest Lessons. I'd expect the title gets shortened to fit on movie tickets.

Based on the memoir by David Menasche, The Priority List tells the story of a beloved Miami high school teacher diagnosed with terminal brain cancer who uses his circumstance to inspire his students to live to the fullest. Having defied the odds, Menasche is still living with cancer and traveled around the States to reconnect with students from his 15-year career. Having read the book (which is excellent), I can predict that this movie will make you cry more than when Michael left The Office. (THR)
