Shia LaBeouf Is So Over Running Away From Giant Robots

In what weirdly qualifies as one of the least obnoxious things Shia LaBeouf has said recently, the actor has made clear his intention to leave the Transformers series, no matter how much it begs for him to come back. Here’s The Beef himself, in an interview with the Associated Press:

“I’m sure they’ll make more of them. It’s still a very hot franchise, there’s still value in it. I think people will still go to see it. I just don’t know if I have anything to contribute.”

I for one am proud of Shia LaBeouf for sticking it out this long. It’s hard work running away from robots, running towards robots, screaming at robots … three movies is enough for any man. I wonder who they’ll get to replace him – or maybe Transformers 4 will do away with humans altogether and focus exclusively on the robots.
