Now Parade Floats Are Things That Can Be A Movie

Wednesday, March 9 by

Because just about everything is allowed to be a movie nowadays, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is now being developed into a film.

Producers Scott Glassgold and Raymond Brothers secured the rights. But, heck, listen to me jawing on about it. Why don’t I let them tell you in producer-speak:

“We’re aiming to make a four-quadrant, family-friendly film somewhere in that Night At The Museum, Elf sweet spot,” Glassgold says.

Oh yes. Put it in the elf‘s sweet spot. Oooooh yes (This move is called “The Keebler Treehouse” by the way).

Though the film doesn’t have a concept yet (who needs one?), one idea is to have the floats spring to life. How imaginative and not absolutely like Night At The Museum! You stay classy, producers Scott Glassgold and Raymon Brothers. (THR)
