After her roles in Red Riding Hood and Now, Amanda Seyfried is gonna get Gone. It was announced today by THR that she has signed on to play Jill, the protagonist in Brazilian director Heitor Dhalia's thriller about a girl who has one-too-many run-ins with a serial killer and decides to take matters into her delicate, finely manicured hands.

Two years after being abducted by a serial killer, Jill comes home to find her sister missing, leading her to believe that her abductor had come back to finish the job. Those bureaucrats at the police station aren't buying her story, so she's forced to go it alone. She'll be the prettiest vigilante ever, which is good, cause this plot sounds a little thin. Doll it up, Amanda! (THR)
