Arnold Schwarzenegger is letting all kinds of shit hit the fan now that he's no longer the governor of California. First it was an onslaught of TV shows, comics, and movies with the Schwarzenegger brand, and now it's the revelation that he knocked up a member of his household staff more than a decade ago. It's for this reason that his wife, Maria Shriver, separated from Schwarzenegger, as was reported previously. Here's Schwarzenegger's statement, which can be read in an amusing Austrian accent to amuse your friends:
""After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family I am truly sorry. I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time. While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not."

What next? Is he going to be a guest judge on "American Idol"? An awkward apology to all his fans on Letterman? Whatever it is, I hope there's a lot of explosions. You just expect it from him, you know? (The Hollywood Reporter)
