Ryan Reynolds is already the world's slowest (to popularity) super-hero in Green Lantern. Now he wants to be the inverse of that (how's that for a segue?) in Turbo, a movie from DreamWorks Animation about a snail who achieves his dream of becoming the world's fastest snail after a freak accident gives him super-speed. Expect lots of life lessons about being an individual in the face of conformity, and jokes about a fat kid torturing snails with a magnifying glass. Seriously, I can guarantee both of those things will be in the movie.

Turbo is being produced by Lisa Stewart. Stewart was also behind Monsters Vs Aliens, which will be forgotten by the time Turbo comes out in summer of 2013. (via Variety)
