Those who have tackled their own home-made adaptations of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower are about to be upstaged twice over. Universal is in talks to condense the seven books by the creepy author (I said it) into a film trilogy directed by Ron Howard. Not only that, but they’ll also produce a far crappier television version for shut-ins and Nielsen families.
