Roger Ebert Picks New Co-Hosts; Ghost Siskel Gives Thumbs Down

Tuesday, January 4 by

Film critic Roger Ebert has chosen his co-hosts for the revamped version of “At the Movies,” the groundbreaking television show he previously helmed with the late Gene Siskel. Christy Lemire, a well known critic for the AP, and Ignatiy Vishnevetsky, a contributor for Mubi.com, will both assist Ebert with his weekly movie rundown. Several others, including CBS’s Jeff Greenfield and The Hitlists’ Kim Morgan, will also contribute to the show, while ScreenJunkies’ own Wookie Johnson will leave offensive comments on the show’s website.

We know that if the ghost of Gene Siskel were able to speak with us from beyond the grave, he would take the opportunity to once again mock Ebert for giving a positive review to Home Alone 3. We miss you, Gene.
