Here's a bit of Robert Pattinson news, lest you think he was going to disintegrate completely after Twilight (do the vampires in Twilight disintegrate? I'm not a fan): He's reportedly interested in playing rock martyr Jeff Buckley in a music biopic.

Jeff Buckley was the son of singer-songwriter Tim Buckley, and accidentally drowned to death at age 30. Apparently this is Pattinson's "dream project," but he's not the only candidate for the part: Ryan Gosling, James Marsden and James Franco are also reported to be interested in playing Buckley. Good God, I certainly wouldn't want to be up against James Franco for a role I wanted.  Isn't he legally obligated to appear in every film? (via JoBlo)
