The end of days can be funny, and not in a "I'm high as hell and keep nudging my buddy cause 2012 is so amazingly awful" type of way. Like Kevin Smith's Dogma, only...funny.

Rapture-Palooza, after having signed the always-awesome Craig Robinson, is in talks with Anna Kendrick and John Francis Daly to jump aboard as well. Kendrick you probably know from her Oscar-nominated turn in Up in the Air, and John Francis Daly you probably don't know from "Freaks and Geeks" and "Bones."

The fact that Rapture-Palooza could score anyone of note, even a "Bones" actor, is pretty amazing given that it will have a production budget of less than $2MM. The film, described as "Zombieland meets The Big Lebowski" is written by Chris Matheson and is helmed by lauded commercial director Paul Middleditch.

Regardless of how the movie turns out, if they aren't able to get a $2MM return on this guy, the producers should be drawn and quartered in front of Spago. (THR)
