It only makes sense that the master of the sleazy erotic thriller, Joe Eszterhas, will team with Hype Williams, the auteur behind the "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems" music video, for Eszterhas' next project, Lust.  Wait. No. NO! THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE AT ALL!

Eszterhas has penned such delightful fare as Showgirls, Sliver, and Basic Instinct, and apparently now wants to know what his scripts would look like shot through a fisheye lens while city lights shine off the hood of a Bentley. Hmmm. That makes two of us.

Stone Village Productions Scott Steindorff describes the project as "Fatal Attraction in reverse" which gives absolutely no clarity to anything, so let me give it a shot. Lust is a sexy thriller set in Miami in which a female publishing magnate is married to a 30 year-old but is cheating on him with a younger man. As the younger man videotapes their passionate romps, the women begins to become unglued. "Fatal Attraction in reverse," Scott? Puh-lease.

The script recently added some NYC scenes and a big music piece, presumably in anticipation of Williams' arrival to the project. It doesn't sound like the movie will get much better with Williams behind the camera, but it sure does sound more fun.
